The stunning bride Victoria- isn’t she gorgeous!?! Soft antique pink flowers for her early wedding shoot with Brooke Bakken - a simple combo of peonies, roses, and babies breath, just the ticket to accent her stunning features. And FYI- more stunning pictures to come -this is just a sneak peak of the wedding day shoot …coming soon!
I love the blossoms all over town in the spring time. There really is such a thing as pink trees! It’s a girls dream! Bringing these blossoms inside can be an easy DIY idea! The simple linear element of branches grouped with clusters of pink color creates your own simple work of art. Even better use it to accent any special wall treatments like this one by Tyler Huntzinger.
Nature creates such beautiful spring colors! With small floral groupings by type and color, this spring basket has the reminiscent feel of a day out in the fields picking fresh blooms. Tulips, Ranunculus, Acacia, and Green Trick included. This one of a kind authentic antique basket is on display at Alice Lane Home Collection. Julia Smith Florals is also available for custom Easter event orders. Call by Friday!
Always a treat to design for Alice Lane Home Collection. These jars are on sale in their store.
This special freelance Valentine’s order made me fall in love with flowers all over again. It was a special order for a special valentine couple. I wanted it to feel romantic with a bit of pizzazz all while hinting toward spring – even though, yes we are in the middle of February. The Quince branches have become a favorite of mine for this time of year. And the pink, well pink is actually a watered down red right? A softer subtler approach toward romance and this Valentine holiday.

Its always excited to say I love you in a new way. A fresh Valentine’s Day arrangement that isn’t the typical red rose do-up can communicate freshness, spontaneity, and freedom in a relationship. Birch bark and peach blossoms add a outdoorsy mountain feel that bring the beauties of the outdoors into the home. This arrangement is crisp with Heather, Dahlias, Anemones, and Coxcomb and has lover’s initials carved in a cupids heart on the front.
Available for Valentine’s day orders. Email or call for this special order.
For the next four weeks I’ll be designing fresh arrangements for the beautiful Alice Lane Home Collection Boutique. A scrumptious amount of purple boutique decor sits nicely with this mix of purple hydrangea, delphinium, and blupleurum. Take a look… a fresh arrangement can add so much to an already well put together interior.
Bloom has a new business card with a vintage botanical print.
